Data Deletion

Delete your Postcrow account

Sign in, open Settings, and use Delete account. This runs immediately and cannot be undone. It removes:

  • your account, password and login sessions;
  • every project, along with its scheduled, drafted and published post records;
  • every connected social account, including the stored access and refresh tokens (we also ask each platform to revoke them);
  • uploaded media files;
  • API keys, notifications, activity log entries and AI usage counters;
  • your subscription record.

Cancelling a paid plan is handled separately in the billing portal. Deleting your account does not by itself refund an active subscription period.

Delete only the data from a connected platform

Disconnecting an account in Accounts deletes the stored tokens and the connection for that platform straight away, and leaves the rest of your Postcrow account intact.

If you connected Postcrow through Facebook or Instagram

You can also start the deletion from Meta's side, without signing in to Postcrow:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings.
  2. Open Apps and Websites.
  3. Find Postcrow in the list, then choose Remove and tick the option to delete the data.

Facebook then notifies us automatically. We delete every Facebook and Instagram connection tied to that Facebook user, together with the stored tokens, and return a confirmation code. Keep that code: pasting it into this page shows the status of your request.

Requesting deletion by email

If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address on the account. We answer erasure requests within 30 days, as required by GDPR Article 17, and in practice within a few working days. We may ask you to confirm control of the email address before we erase anything.

What we keep, and why

Payment records are retained by our payment processor, Stripe, for the period required by accounting and tax law. That data lives with Stripe rather than in Postcrow, and deleting your Postcrow account does not remove it. Everything else described above is destroyed, not anonymised or archived.
